WOWZERS. I think I was more tired today then I have been all weekend. So unfortunately Amanda’s people didn’t get any A parking passes for today and they won’t let side stage passes in through the front entrance(LAME) so my dad and I parked about a mile away from Coachella and walked there cause we figured there’d be less traffic anyways… . SO thirty minutes later we arrived and I hung out in the shade until my friend showed up. Then we headed over to Gaslight Anthem. We just kinda sat away from the crowd and “chilled”. It was pretty hot today and being the smart person that I am I wore skinny jeans (NICE -___-;; ). I eventually had to roll ‘em up cause it was just too hot sittin’ out there. So yeah, Gaslight was pretty good and they were funny too XD! Anyways, after that we got some ice cream and ‘chilled’ again while we watched Lykke Li. I liked her music- had a pretty nice sound. Once she was done we went over to the main stage for Peter Bjorn. I didn’t really think he’s anything special but his song Young Folks is pretty catchy =]. We scouted for good food prices after that then headed over to watch the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. My other friend showed up with a MAIN STAGE pass for the friend that I was chillin’ with all day. They both ditched me to go backstage for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, leaving me to sit and play games on my cell phone and text people for twenty minutes…. It didn’t bother me too much and for some reason one of my friends thought I was gonna get raped if I was alone. I honestly didn’t care cause I was kinda getting’ tired of her anyways >_>. I’m not sure if she knows that you go to a MUSIC festival to listen to MUSIC and NOT to look at hot guys that you aren’t even allowed to date -_-;. After that little ordeal I got a $9 cheeseburger and a $4 coke and then went shopping with one friend while the other went into the SUPER rave tent XP. After that I ventured on by myself AGAIN because I wanted to see Public Enemy and DID NOT WANT TO GO IN THE SAHARAH*RAVE*TENT (Sorry Carla… a raver I am not). Besides that I LIKE Public Enemy and when I was alone I did not get raped because I am smart. They were freakin' awesome for the whole two songs I heard ! Lastly I saw The Cure from ten-ish ‘til twelve thirty. The were pretty freakin’ rad. They only played 2 outta five of my favorite songs though. It’s okay though ‘cause I got some pretty rad pictures of Robert Smith (lead singer). So that was my day. I’m tired. I’m severely tanned. I’m really frickin’ tired. I’m going to sleep now.
